Information we process

We process account identifiers, subscription and credit information, prompts, uploaded images, generated outputs, character settings, and the technical information needed to operate and secure Remix Camera. For API use, this also includes API-key metadata, endpoint and status records, model selections, request identifiers, timestamps, and network or device signals used for security and rate limiting. During the Agent beta, this includes conversation inputs, sanitized Agent replies and plans, result status, and bounded actions taken from an Agent-created photo, such as downloading, style searching, editing, publishing, deleting, or rating it, so we can investigate sessions and improve reliability. Authorized administrators may review this information in a read-only session view, and access to that view is audited. Agent beta session records omit signed asset URLs, storage keys, and authentication secrets and are scheduled for deletion after 14 days or earlier when the account is deleted. API key secrets are shown when created; we retain a one-way representation used to verify the key rather than the full secret.

How we use and share information

We use this information to authenticate requests, provide image generation and training, moderate content, calculate usage and credits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability. Inputs and related request data may be processed by cloud hosting, storage, authentication, moderation, analytics, payment, and AI-generation providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell your photos. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or others.

Companion Chat and relationship memory

If you use Companion Chat, we process and retain your messages, the character you contacted, message timestamps, relationship and handoff history, image requests and results, feedback, and compact facts derived from conversations. We use this information to generate replies, maintain continuity across sessions, keep each relationship scoped to the correct account and character, deliver requested media, calculate allowances and credits, enforce age and safety controls, investigate failures, and measure product reliability. Conversation inputs and relevant relationship context may be sent to AI providers acting on our behalf to generate replies or media. Private chat and relationship memory are not placed in a character's public Feed or another user's relationship.

Companion Chat records and derived relationship memory currently have no scheduled product-level expiration. We retain them until the account or applicable data is deleted, a valid privacy request is completed, or retention is otherwise limited by law or our operational policies. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, fraud-prevention systems, billing records, or safety and enforcement records where deletion is not immediate or continued retention is permitted or required.

Safety review and reference images

Uploaded character and reference images may be analyzed for age and other safety signals before they can be used for generation, editing, or training. A source awaiting review may be stored while the check runs, but it is not made available to an image-generation provider unless it is cleared or an administrator approves it. Flagged or unclear sources may be retained as needed for review, appeals, abuse prevention, and enforcement.

Retention, deletion, and security

Retention varies by data type, account plan, and operational need. You can remove photos and characters in the product or contact us to request account deletion. Limited copies may remain for a reasonable period in backups, transaction records, safety records, fraud-prevention systems, and security logs where deletion is not immediate or where retention is legally permitted or required. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your responsibilities and choices

Only submit images and personal information you are authorized to process, and do not place API keys in public applications or repositories. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
